Crow Wing County Land Services will extend virtual services until November 12
The Crow Wing County Land Services Department will extend virtual service delivery for an additional week until November 12.
“I want to reassure our residents that the staff will continue to work and provide the same services that we always have. This decision was made out of excess of caution towards our staff and the citizens they serve, ”County Administrator Tim Houle said in a press release.
After several staff members were exposed to COVID-19, county officials initially made the decision to switch to virtual service delivery starting Wednesday, October 28. This means that entry into the building of the land services is prohibited. All services remain available online and by phone.
“We are taking steps to divide our workforce and minimize physical contact between our employees,” Houle said.
There is a drop box in front of the Property Services building, 322 Laurel St., Brainerd. For assistance call Ground Services at 218-824-1010 or email [email protected]. Help is also available on crowwing.us.
“We ask everyone to stay alert and maintain social distancing, wear a mask, wash your hands and stay home when you are sick to help minimize disruption in our county,” said Swell.
All other county offices remain open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, including the County Community Services building which has temporarily switched to all virtual services.
